About the Main Building

Villa Sansui is a simplistic lakeshore-guesthouse proudly run by an “auntie” and “uncle”.
Of course, the manager is also among those .
We do our best to pay special attention to the meals, guest services and ways to enhance your experiences with nature so that all guests who stay with us hopefully will say “I would like to come again”.

    Communal baths
    There are two baths located on the first floor. They aren’t onsen(hot springs) but you can still feel fully relaxed after using them.
    (Depending on the day and number of people, the baths can also be used privately)

    Banquet room, guest rooms, Japanese inn-style room, private Japanese style room
    Look out onto Sunny Beach from the spacious terrace of the large (36m2) Japanese inn-style room. It’s a popular choice for families with small children, large families, multiple families and large groups.
    Let loose and relax in this room.
    We do ask guests to respect the other guests around them and refrain from doing anything that may inconvenience or trouble other people.

    Guest rooms (5 Japanese style rooms, 1 Western style room: all rooms have restrooms)
    Our guestrooms are typical guestrooms but we pay special attention to the cleanliness of each one.
    Enjoy the panoramic lake views of each season from your veranda.
    (Some rooms offer views of Makino Plateau’s scenery.)

We put cleanliness first with all of our guestrooms.
All rooms have their own restroom.
Each room offers beautiful views of either the lake or Makino Plateau.
The mountain side room has twin beds.
Slide the door of our large Japanese inn style room open to see a panoramic view of the lakeside.

*We have guestrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors but there is no elevator.
*There is no bed turndown service and guests are asked to set up their own futon bedding.
*The large (36m2) Japanese inn-style room on the second floor does not have its own restroom.

Bath towel, hand towel, toothbrush, razor, yukata(light Japanese style cotton robe, adults only).
The bath areas have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer
